What we collect
- A nickname you choose. It is shown to the other players in your session. You can leave it empty or type anything you like.
- A random installation identifier. A number the watch generates the first time the app opens. It contains nothing about you and is not linked to your Apple or Google account. It is used only to tell which watch sent which update.
- The match data you enter. Scores, sets, who is serving, and player names if you type them.
- Server logs. Like any server, ours records the IP address, time and type of each request, for security and troubleshooting. Logs are deleted after 30 days.
What we do not collect: no full name, no email, no phone number, no location, no contacts and no health data.
Why
So that a shared session works. The scoring watch sends each point to the server, and the server passes it on to the watches that joined with the code. That is the whole use. We do not build profiles and we do not send marketing messages.
Where it is stored
On our server, operated by the developer and hosted in the European Union or Israel. Traffic between the watch and the server is encrypted (HTTPS).
No ads, no tracking
The app has no ads, no third-party analytics SDKs and no social-network code. We do not sell data and we do not share it with anyone, unless the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
- Match data: until the person who opened the session deletes it, or after 12 months without activity. After that it is deleted automatically.
- Server logs: 30 days.
- Nickname and installation identifier: stored on the watch itself. Deleting the app deletes them.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Write to [EMAIL] and include your nickname and the session code so we can find the data. We reply within 30 days. Because there are no accounts, this is also the only way we can connect any data to you.
HealthKit on Apple Watch
On Apple Watch the app starts a workout session while a match is on. Its only purpose is to keep the display awake, so you can see the score without raising your wrist. We do not read, store or send any health data: no heart rate, no calories, no steps. The workout session ends when the match ends.
Children
Nekuda is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you learn that a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change something material, we will update the date at the top of this page and say so in the app or on the website. The current version always lives at nekuda.app/en/privacy.
